Whenever you travel along the colombo-    kandy road , you can see the Saradiyal Village.So Uthuwankanda is a rural hamlet    situated in Mawanalla in Kegall district. So    although you visit this village it gives you an understanding of saradiyal's authentic story.

  And also you can see the uthuwankanda rock .

This rock served as saradiel's hide out two centures ago. So when you visite utuwananda village don't forget climb the rock. 

  Who is saradiel?.

   Saradiel is a world famous caractor. He     born as Deekirihewage Saradial appu , but     he later became sura saradiel. Although       saradiel was an famous norotious rebel for   the british saradiel always wanted to protect people . In the real sense of the word  their objective was to free people from oppression by local elites and wahites.

So if you come to this village  you can learn about the language of our ancestors and the things they  used . 

    So I'm glad to say that I was lucky enough to saw that place and I got to know informations about national  heros of our country . There for If you come I expect that you will enjoy this place.
